Pro Pitcher’s Camp – This is IPB’s second instructional specific event for pitchers only.  This coincides with the Catcher’s Camp.  IPB features Les Lancaster former Major League Pitcher and current Professional Manager as the field coordinator in this event.  Pitchers are put through a 3 day instructional/evaluation format which includes mechanics, mound presence and attitude, pick off moves, fielding and field communication.  Also the event dives into pitch selection, command, working with your catcher, detecting hitter’s weaknesses and mental and physical preparation.   Little league, high school, college and professional levels will be divided into groups. Evaluations are given at the end of both instructional events.

 

LIMITED TO 20 PITCHERS (6 remaining roster spots)

This Event is ALL-INCLUSIVE and Provides:

 
Instruction: 3 days of professional PITCHING instruction.
Scouts: Professional scout/instructor in attendance. Former major leaguer Les Lancaster will be our guest speaker.

Note: Parents traveling with campers must make hotel reservations by calling the IPB office at 562-902-9416. Parent hotel package will include room, full breakfast buffet and event catered dinner. ($109.00 nightly plus tax) ($99.00 nightly plus tax, without dinner) Reaservations and payment must be made through IPB office.

Players choosing to stay with parents will received a $30.00 room credit nightly.)

Uniforms: IPB t-shirt supplied, (personal uniform required-see below).
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner catered daily.
Transportation : Ground transportation provided daily.
Fee :  Hotel Package $695; Local Residents - $495 (Payment plans available with $300.00 deposit, remaining balances are due before November 15th, 2008. Airport transportation is included in hotel package.
 
Players are Responsible for:
Air Travel: Players fly into Ontario International airport (Ontario, CA). Van time is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. and  12:00 p.m. for player pick-up at airport. Players and parents will meet out in fromt of Southwest baggage claim. Incoming flights should be booked for the morning hours of December 20th and all outgoing flights should be scheduled for the late afternoon and evening hours on Decmeber 22nd.
Personal Equipment: Glove, cleats, personal protective equipment, uniform pants and belt, cap, and bat.
Off Field Dress: Casual

Schedule of Events:
December 20 Players arrive in morning hours, airport pickup will be available at 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Afternoon practice scheduled for 2:00 p.m. p.m.until dark at Mt. Sac College in Walnut, CA. 1100 N. Grand Ave. Local players need to meet at field at 1:45 p.m.
December 21 Warm-Up & Conditioning will start at 8:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.

   (Players depart following the event- 2:00p.m.) Schedule flights after 2:00 p.m. Vans will return players to airport. Late check out will be available at hotel.
